In their jobs and careers Adrian and Austin spend quite a bit of time doing coding work. In this episode we will discuss the future of coding and if it will be “the next big blue-collar job”. As big fans of the Lord of the Rings books and movies, Adrian and Austin discuss the upcoming TV show set to take place in Middle-earth. We share our though and fears about Amazon’s forthcoming Lord of the Rings series and discuss what would make the show great. We compare this series with other novel to TV adaptations, specifically HBO’s “Game of Thrones”. 

3. Good Marvel Movies

After watching Marvel’s newest installment “Thor: Ragnarok”, Adrian and Austin discuss what makes a good Marvel movie and how this differs from a good movie in general. We will also discuss if there is room for humor in a movie about the end of the world. 

2. Narrative Forms in New Media

With all the hype behind Stranger Things Season 2, Adrian and Austin discuss how narrative forms have changed with new media. We will try to decide if binge watching shows are good or bad and discuss the effect it has on how stories are told.
