41. What Is Patriotism

Today in America there is a lot of disagreement about what it means to be and act in ways that display patriotism. In this episode, Adrian and Austin seek to define patriotism and what it means to be patriotic. We look at George Orwell's definition and dig into an article that asks whether or not Trump is a patriot. Finally, we discuss how our perspective effects how we view situations and ideas as patriotic or not. 40. Say Goodbye to Home WiFi

The brothers have returned from vacation and now are wondering about the necessity of having WiFi in our homes. We discuss our recent experiences without WiFi and discuss the positive and negatives of not having it. Finally, we try and figure out why the idea of in home WiFi was never questioned as a good thing and think about when things that are convenient stop also being beneficial.

39. What Do You Meme - With Zach

Adrian and Austin welcome their brother Zach to the show as they dive into the world of memes and internet culture. Zach informs us about how memes have changed from what we used to know them as, as well as gives us examples of popular memes and the wide varieties of forms and templates. Finally, we wrap up the discussion by trying to figure out if memes are good and how we can help the relationship issues created by the internet.

Adrian and Austin continue their "in crisis" series by looking at white people. With some recent controversies surrounding white people and "reverse racism" we look at some of the underlying issues that lead to racism. We seek to answer the question both personally and at large if white people in America are in crisis.

Do you choose to experience sad things when you are sad already, or to feel sad? Last week, Adrian and Austin sought to determine why things are funny. This week, we look at not only why things are sad but why we like sad things. We discuss things that we think are sad and talk about why we choose to experience those things.
